Marine Clean Valeting offer a wide range of boat cleaning services and programs to suit all clients from private owners to charter fleet companies.
Below is an extensive list of the services available, please select an individual service for more information.
This service is a combination of thorough cleaning, use of the pressure washer on non slip surfaces (not teak), cleaning of teak to remove the grey and green, use of teak brightener to restore the original colour and shampoo and wash off to remove bird strikes, fallout from snow and rain to include the hull, cleaning all the external lockers, windows and stainless.
This process is very popular after the winter and when a vessel has been left for a long period of time, this remedial process can be carried out in or out of the water.
This process includes a compound to remove the top surface, which once it has been left porous by the sun’s UV rays can no longer sustain a normal wax polish. Once completed the surfaces are then wax polished to leave them both shiny and sealed. As part of this service we also include a start up valet to complete the work.

(No compounding involved) for boats that have not sustained UV damage and can take a straight wax polish. As part of this service we also include a start up valet to complete the work.

Marine Clean offers both summer and winter monthly contracts (6 months)
- Winter – consisting of a monthly shampoo & wash off all over removing bird strikes, and general dirt and pollution from rain, snow and commercial fall out.
- Summer – consisting of a monthly shampoo & wash off, cleaning of windows and stainless, and periodic teak cleaning.
Teak “thick or thin” is prone to the greying and green discolouration if left over a period of time. Teak refurbishment includes soaking and gently scrubbing the surface to remove the dirt and grey/ green residue, this is then followed by the use of a teak brightener which restores the colour.
Many people have different ideas on how teak should look -the choice is yours between gold and the washed white look. One should also note that if you teak oil your surfaces this virtually has rendered it impossible to clean and brighten it and very often leaves a dark to black surface.
Please contact us for quotation. Quotations are subject to sight of hull conditions, and any specific paint requirements.
Bring your rib back to life with our rib cleaning services which uses our rib and fender cleaner to restore the original colour & finish back to the rib without damaging the surface. We clean the entire rib including the underneath (where accessible) and the inside including any seating and lockers.
Includes a vacuum throughout, polish of all timberwork, a clean of all surfaces, cleaning cupboards, cookers, refrigerators, microwave, windows, heads and headlinings. It also includes a full carpet and upholstery shampoo.
A full upholstery and carpet cleaning service either on board or within our premises by use of a damp process or dry foam cleaning. We can accommodate woven, leather and suede surfaces and would also recommend our “scotch guard” treatment especially on new boats – this effectively seals the surfaces and makes the removal of spillages that much simpler.
A hot steam clean of all such areas with a degreaser then the extraction of all fluids and drying of all accessible areas. We can also complete this process without the use of a steam cleaner if necessary.
Either on board or within our premises covers are steam cleaned and reproofed.
Being the only approved valeters to the London & Southampton Boat Shows for over 12 years we can offer a complete service to get your boats and stands ready for the show and maintain them throughout.
Rust contamination caused by a third party working on cutting or grinding metal within a close proximity – the hot sparks are then carried onto the surface and quite often imbed into the surface. This then causes rust bleeding.
We specialise in the removal of such particles and the restoration of the surfaces. Because of the complexities that can be experienced we can only recommend a process upon evaluation of the surface at the time.
Marine Clean has the necessary cleaning and extraction equipment to carry out the complete cleaning process in the event of fire and smoke damage. In this event we will inspect and report our findings along with our quotation to remedy the situation.
